ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
At House Of Music PSL, we provide inclusive and individualized support for children and teens through ABA-based strategies, social development programs, and life skills training in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Our goal is not only to teach skills, but to help children and teens build confidence, independence, meaningful relationships, and functional abilities for everyday life.
We believe growth happens best through positive interaction, creativity, collaboration, and real-world experiences.
OUR PROGRAMS
Early Social Skills Groups (Ages 5+)
Small group sessions focused on developing foundational social and communication skills through guided interaction and structured activities.
Groups are intentionally kept small to provide individualized support and meaningful interaction.
Skills may include:
- Taking turns
- Waiting appropriately
- Sharing
- Following directions
- Emotional regulation
- Peer interaction
- Communication skills
- Cooperative play
- Building confidence in social settings
Teen & Young Adult Life Skills Groups (Ages 13–16+)
Our life skills groups help adolescents develop independence, confidence, responsibility, and real-world functional skills in a supportive and inclusive social environment.
These groups are designed for both neurotypical and neurodivergent participants in inclusive social settings.
Topics may include:
- Time management
- Responsibility and routines
- Money management
- Organization skills
- Social communication
- Problem-solving
- Household responsibilities
- Community participation
- Executive functioning skills
- Task completion and planning
- Independence and self-advocacy
Individual Support
We also offer personalized 1:1 support based on each child or teen’s individual goals and developmental needs.

All ABA therapy programs are designed, supervised, and overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Mayra Sotero, M.A., BCBA is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis Practice and extensive experience supporting neurodivergent children and their families.
As Director of HOM Therapy and Manager of School Operations, she oversees multidisciplinary programs, collaborates with therapy and education teams, and helps ensure high-quality, individualized services for each student.
Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, Mayra combines behavioral expertise, leadership, and compassionate family support to create an environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
